Winter is in our midst, and we are determined to make the most of it. Wimmer Communities is currently putting on a drive-through holiday light show in Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park. The Winter Wonders, Boerner, A Holiday Tradition event is in full swing. If you missed the opening preview, you still have time to participate in this annual event!
The past two weekends, guests were mesmerized by thanksgiving themes, nativity scenes, and a rainbow of colors illuminating the forests and fields of the Boerner Arboretum and Whitnall Park.
Between November 18 and 2022 – January 1, 2023, the fields will be lit with many eye-catching scenes. It’s a great time to bring your family out for an afternoon/evening of fun. Winter doesn’t have to be boring.

When does the event take place?
Between November 18, 2022 – January 1, 2023
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The line opens at 4:30 p.m., Last entry at 8:45 p.m.
Skip the Line from 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.
The event is open each night between Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
What do tickets include?
Each car driving on the Winter Wonders route gets:
- Access to the drive-thru
- A special holiday gift pack with a variety of items from our sponsors.
- Specific nightly themed gifts
- An email letter from Santa is available through December 20. You can find details at www.winterwonders.org/santa
- A video drive-in with holiday shorts.
